Arcy Healthcare Gives Back to the Community

Arcy Healthcare made a gift of $100,000 to support the College of Nursing at Texas Woman’s University (TWU).

Arcy Healthcare made a gift of $100,000 to support the College of Nursing at Texas Woman’s University (TWU). The donation will create an endowment to support two new scholarships:

Healthcare Endowed Nursing Scholarship Fund, $50,000

This scholarship provides an opportunity to our leaders of tomorrow and assists TWU’s goal of helping every student who chooses the TWU College of Nursing to pay for tuition and living expenses. With almost 50% of the student body Pell eligible, this gift will support dedicated, motivated, and some of the most deserving students at TWU.

Arcy Healthcare Endowed Nursing Faculty Excellence Fund, $50,000

This scholarship provides recognition for exceptional teaching and nursing excellence. It will supplement faculty salaries for those that engage with innovative solutions to community health and aging-in-place initiatives. It will assist TWU with supporting and retaining outstanding faculty in hospice, palliative, and home health care.

CEO Jimmie Stapleton said, “One of our essential goals is to be part of the community, and we want the community to be part of us. Without nurses to staff our clinical program, we wouldn’t be able to do our jobs.”

Arcy Healthcare is proud to be able to support the community and the next generation of nurses, continuing its culture of caring.
