Celebrating CNA Appreciation Week

The Certified Nursing Assistants were recognized by the team for their essential contribution.

The Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) gathered this week for an afternoon ice cream party and an opportunity to be recognized by the team. In addition to the sweet treats, the staff was treated to new scrubs, featuring the Arcy Hospice embroidered logo.

Our CNA’s are an amazing group of people and are an important part of patient care. A hospice aide performs a combination of personal hygiene duties, like bathing, dressing, and hair care, and some light housekeeping, like changing linens. They help ensure patients are comfortable and spend time talking and listening during their visits. They provide emotional support to the patient and family and work closely with the nurse case manager to communicate any new needs or changes in condition.

Arcy Hospice has a robust team of CNA’s, many of whom have been with the company over eight years. We are grateful for their kindness and professionalism.
