We are pleased to report that our GUIDE program is officially in full swing! Our community is growing quickly, and we are welcoming several new families into the fold every single week.
Now Enrolling: Enhanced Dementia Caregiver Support
If you are curious about how to get started, we’ve put together these FAQs to help you navigate your journey with us.
Frequently Asked Questions About the GUIDE Model (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience)
- What exactly does a GUIDE Navigator do for my family? Think of your Navigator as your personal healthcare “concierge” for families navigating the complicated care for someone with dementia. At Arcy, our GUIDE Navigator, Jodi, helps you coordinate monthly home visits by our NPs, find local transportation, meal services or home care, and build a personalized care plan. She is your direct point of contact to ensure you never have to navigate the complexities of dementia care alone.
- Is there really no cost for the GUIDE program? Yes. The GUIDE Model is a new, nationwide program under traditional Medicare (Parts A and B). There are no out-of-pocket costs, deductibles, or co-pays for the care coordination, 24/7 support line, or the navigator services provided through Arcy.
- How does the $2,500 respite care reimbursement work? One of the most valuable features of GUIDE is the annual respite benefit. Eligible caregivers can receive up to $2,500 per year to pay for temporary home care—whether that is an in-home provider, an adult day center, or a short-term facility stay. This allows primary caregivers to take a break.
- Can I still see my regular primary care doctor? Absolutely. Enrolling in the GUIDE program at Arcy does not change your Medicare benefits or prevent you from seeing your current doctors. We work alongside your existing medical team to provide an extra layer of specialized dementia support and home-based monitoring.
- Who is eligible to join the GUIDE program at Arcy? To qualify, the patient must:
- Have a confirmed dementia diagnosis (Alzheimer’s, Vascular, Lewy Body, etc.) in any stage.
- Be enrolled in Traditional Medicare (Parts A and B) as their primary payer.
- Live in the community (not a long-term nursing home).
- Not currently be enrolled in the Medicare hospice benefit.

Founder, CEO at Arcy Healthcare
Hello,
My name is Jimmie Stapleton. I am the founder and CEO of Arcy Healthcare. Arcy Healthcare includes Arcy Hospice, Arcy Supportive Care, Arcy Home Health and Arcy at Home.
Arcy Hospice was opened in 2007 to provide care and support for individuals and families facing a life limiting illness. It was established after my wife Ellen, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer, had completed her chemo and radiation therapies. At that time, things were looking positive, and we wanted to do something for our community that had been so supportive of our family during her treatments. Unfortunately, the cancer returned a few years later, and she subsequently passed away under our care in 2010.
In the years that followed, I began to see the need to provide the same level of excellent care to patients across the continuum of care. Therefore, we have added a home health division (Arcy Home Health), a palliative care division (Arcy Supportive Care), and two home care divisions, (Arcy at Home and Living Well Senior Care). With the addition of these divisions, we can meet most of the post-acute care needs for you and your family in your home.
I started Arcy Hospice with my wife as my inspiration to provide exceptional care and support in the patient’s home, where they are surrounded by family and where they feel most comfortable. I’m proud to say our dedicated staff provides some of the most respected in-home care in Dallas-Fort Worth, treating every patient like a member of our own family.
Please let us know if we can enrich the quality of life for you or a loved one.
Sincerely,
Jimmie Stapleton – Founder and CEO
