Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! The GUIDE program is completely free for all patients who qualify. For eligible participants, respite care is also fully covered by CMS up to $2,500. There are no out-of-pocket costs for patients enrolled in the GUIDE program.

Getting started is easy! You can complete the form on our website or contact our office directly.

Our GUIDE Navigator will guide you through the enrollment process, which includes verifying insurance, requesting medical records, completing an in-person assessment, and submitting the necessary paperwork to CMS.

The enrollment process typically takes 2–4 weeks. Once a patient is officially aligned with the GUIDE program, they can begin receiving nurse practitioner (NP) visits and utilizing their respite care benefit, if eligible.

Arcy Healthcare offers two caregiving services: Arcy at Home, serving the Dallas area, and Living Well Senior Care, serving the Denton area.

Once a patient is aligned with the GUIDE program, our GUIDE Navigator will coordinate with the family and the appropriate home care division based on the patient’s location.

Before respite care can be scheduled, the home care team will complete an additional in-person assessment. This allows us to develop a personalized care plan that outlines the patient’s specific needs, routines, and preferences. Once the assessment is complete, respite care shifts can be scheduled.

At Arcy Healthcare, we prioritize in-person care and believe that building meaningful relationships with patients and their families starts with face-to-face interactions. All of our visits are conducted in person, and we do not utilize telehealth.

Another important distinction is that we offer our own caregiving services through Arcy at Home in the Dallas area and Living Well Senior Care in the Denton area. Rather than contracting with outside caregiving agencies to provide respite care, we keep services in-house. This allows for better communication and coordination among our teams, more consistent care, and a seamless experience for patients and their families.
