Arcy at Home brings comfort and familiarity to seniors by providing comprehensive personal assistance services in their own homes, reducing the need to transition to elder care facilities.
Take for instance, Lynda Walp, age 86, who is both an Arcy Hospice and an Arcy at Home client. Lynda was a homemaker and according to her family, the best mother ever. She was a lifelong teacher, who at age 65, received a master’s in education. Lynda is currently living at home with her daughter and son-in-law and in the care of both Arcy Hospice and Arcy at Home.
Lynda’s hospice team visits several times each week, for about an hour at a time, but it simply is not enough care. Because of her advanced Alzheimer’s Disease, Lynda requires help with all “activities of daily living” and is unable to make her needs known. Looking for more assistance, her family reached out to Arcy at Home. Arcy at Home’s caregivers can assist with bathing/showering, dressing, transferring, feeding, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Caregivers come to Lynda’s house for several hours each day to assist with her care.
Her son-in-law explains the difference Arcy at Home has made in their lives this way, “We switched to Arcy at Home after four months and 13 caregivers trying to find ‘the one’ caregiver that we could consider ours with consistent, caring, and competent care. Arcy has been with us since July 2023 and we are just so happy. Not one hour has been less than fantastic! Even the managers and billing people are all super responsive. We have confidence in this team; they are so solid.”

My name is Jimmie Stapleton. I am the founder and CEO of Arcy Healthcare. Arcy Healthcare includes Arcy Hospice, Arcy Supportive Care, MaximaCare Home Health and Arcy at Home.
Arcy Hospice was opened in 2007 to provide care and support for individuals and families facing a life limiting illness. It was established after my wife Ellen, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer, had completed her chemo and radiation therapies. At that time, things were looking positive, and we wanted to do something for our community that had been so supportive of our family during her treatments. Unfortunately, the cancer returned a few years later, and she subsequently passed away under our care in 2010.
In the years that followed, I began to see the need to provide the same level of excellent care to patients across the continuum of care. Therefore, we have added a home health division (MaximaCare Home Health), a palliative care division (Arcy Supportive Care), and a home care division, (Arcy at Home). With the addition of these divisions, we can meet most of the post-acute care needs for you and your family in your home.
I started Arcy Hospice with my wife as my motivation to provide exceptional care and support in the patient’s home, where they are surrounded by family and where they feel most comfortable. I’m proud to say that our staff provides some of the best in home care in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
Please let us know if we can enrich the quality of life for you or a loved one.
Sincerely,
Jimmie Stapleton – Founder and CEO
